it’s just a game

In the midst of all this controversy, the figure of a Galician streamer, or content creator, has emerged. This is Rubén Domínguez, known as El Xokas. A native of Lugo, until recently he combined his work as a video editor at Real Madrid with his video game livestreams on the Twitch platform.
Again, this clip was shared on social networks and has accumulated more than one million views. Interestingly, El Xokas was playing Rust alongside El Rubius, among other content creators. A few days ago, another video of him in the same game was also widely shared, in which he defends Elvisa, a character played by comedian Álvaro Maldonado, against the homophobic insult of one of his followers.

Let’s get serious: can’t games help in the educational process? Several authors have written about the importance of games in pre-school education, but what about in university education?
You may be wondering “how does the game know that I have already arrived?”, well, the game runs on a cell phone or tablet with GPS and that is how the game forces us to move until we reach the point where the clue appears.
Of the 7 groups that competed, only 2 were able to determine who the killer was, but they were all focused for 2 hours in a fun and challenging group learning experience.
The time flew by, all the groups returned to the classroom to share results and find out which group was the winner (and who the killer was), along the way, they had put into practice the knowledge they had acquired and developed a set of competencies.
