Clone wars 2003

This Cartoon Network production is an animated series based on the Star Wars universe, standing out as one of the products best valued by fans of the galactic universe for remaining faithful to the original spirit and showing unknown details of the story until now.
This fiction is built as a sort of continuation of The Clone Wars, another production developed by Lucasfilm with the Cartoon Network channel under the guidance of animation master Genndy Tartakovsky. After its completion in 2005, George Lucas announced that they were working on a 3D sequel.
The production aired on Cartoon Network from 2008 until 2013, at which time Lucasfilm announced that, following the purchase of the company and the rights to the saga by Disney, the series would be canceled leaving some plots open. After this news, Disney focused on producing another 3D animated fiction called Star Wars Rebels.
As a curiosity, it is worth mentioning that the term «Clone Wars» has its origin in a mention made by the veteran Obi-Wan Kenobi in the first film of the saga in 1977. And who would have thought at that time that a simple comment would give birth to an entire animated series?
